Multi-Area Awards Program Coordinator (Ukrainian Nationals Only)

• Work with the Area Director of different Area Offices to prepare and oversee programme implementation to ensure timely delivery of programme activities, including partner agreements, monitoring against log frames, individual performance management work plans, identifying programme supplies needs and coordinating with the logistics team to put in place a sensible phased procurement plan.
• Actively contribute to the development of budgets and monthly work plans of Save the Children Area Offices, and with local/national partners (as needed) in alignment with the detailed implementation plans including procurements and the delivery schedules of programme inputs in line with programme logistics/supply chain capacity.
• Support the management of the awards implementation, ensuring that activities and reports are delivered according to donor and Save the Children contractual requirements, within the agreed timescale and budget.
• Work with the Technical Specialists and MEAL team to support monitor programming, accountability outcomes and ensure that quality issues, beneficiary complaints and feedback and other issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and draft the regular donor reports, ensuring each Area Office is supported to develop quality inputs.
• Work with partners to ensure timely reporting of project activities in compliance with internal Save the Children requirements and donors requirements.
• Be the key focal point to address queries and requests from the donor.
• Coordinate all program documentation (e.g BOQs) that requires donor approval or concurrence.
• Deliver accurate, timely and quality reporting via internal and external mechanisms in relation to awards in the portfolio, including at award review meetings, meetings with Save the Children stakeholders, and others, as required.
• Be the knowledge holder of how SCI's programming relates to and compliments other partner programming and ensures that the SCI team are adhering to the agreed harmonized approaches.
• Represent SCI's programming at various coordination meetings (including but not limited to consortium Area Coordination meetings) and take responsibility for ensuring all agreed actions for SCI are implemented at area level.
• Ensure that SCI is leading by example at the field level by keeping Protection central to decision making and to our external communications.
• Work closely with Technical Specialists to identify partner capacity gaps in the delivery of quality programs, and Support Functions including Finance and Supply Chain and work the partnership team to ensure relevant and agreed capacity building plans are in place.
• Provide donor sector and grant compliance sessions for Area Offices to ensure all staff are fully aware of the unique requirements of BHA and other donors funding.
• Identify stories in the field to be promoted in case studies and regular social media posts.
• Provide regular feedback to the Partnerships team on local partner performance, key contacts, capacity, and other relevant inputs to support ongoing partner engagement, as needed.
• Ensure Save the Children key staff and internal/external stakeholders remain updated on relevant contextual developments in Ukraine, particularly any challenges to project/program delivery and emerging needs.
• Work jointly on Action Plans that would lead to improvement of the grants implementation.
• Support with Project kick-off meeting, project review meetings, close out meetings, etc.
• Work with other departments to ensure project procurement plans, work plans, HR plans, MEAL Plans, etc. are in place.
• Ensure all relevant project/program documentation is managed appropriately in well organised shared online folders via Save the Children IT systems.
• Support partners and Save the Children in the timely and professional investigation of any issues relating to accountability, safeguarding, policy breaches and other concerns.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience of working in similar program, preferably in a humanitarian environment.
• Previous experience of supporting programme management across multiple locations.
• Experience working with civil society on humanitarian and development programming.
• Understanding of MEAL activities including accountability approaches, project assessments, designing, managing, monitoring and evaluating humanitarian programmes.
• The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances.
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of written and spoken English and Ukrainian.

• Previous NGO experience, particularly with international NGOs and/or BHA funded programs.
• Experience or knowledge of working and living in relevant regions/contexts within Ukraine.
